Space between objects

Hello together,
this is a simply question. The space between the icons in my objectdock are very small, in some cases the space is so small, that the icons touch each other.
Is there any options to make the space longer?

yes there is an option to do that...if you open the settings dialog and then go to EFFECTS>ZOOM EFFECT SETTINGS and change the space between the spread of the icons on zoom...if your talking about TABBED docks then the only way is to add a seperator as SCRUF57 mentioned

This only changes the number of icons of the zoom spread, if the icons touch on dock they will still touch when zoomed.

I want to do the instruction of mirsguy in this thread but I don't know where I can find the ini.files.
I have downloaded some icons as png.files, but where are the ini files?

There are 2 places background folders will be
C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds
and
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\ObjectDock Library\Backgrounds ( owner would be your logon name)
the .ini files will be in the folder for the backgrounds.
These paths are for XP not sure if they vary on other OSes.

I have found both folders...thank you.
But the one folder is empty and in the other folders there are folders like non-tabbed, tabbed and tiles.
What do I have to do, if I download a skin from this page...this is zip file and in there, there is a png file, the icon.
But where is the ini file for such a skin. If I understand this other thread, I need the ini files from each skin to change the background size.

If there is just an icon and no .ini in the folder in the zip it is just an icon not a background skin. A background will have png images for the dock and a .ini file for the coding.
The tabbed, non tabbed and tiles is where the default included dock backgrounds will be.

Sorry I don't know, if this is that I'am searching for.
An example: I installed a program and I want to have the start.exe in the objectbar with the original icon of this programm. So I put the exe in the objectbar, but then I have the problems with the space.
What do I have to do, to increase the space including the original icon?

1. Locate the folder where your background is saved.
If you're on Win7 64-bit or Vista 64-bit, then it is here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\Non-Tabbed\Vector Cell. Otherwise, it's here: C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\Non-Tabbed\Vector Cell.
2. Download these docks: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=16254&libid=29
3. Unzip the folder for the docks you just downloaded. Copy the blank.png file from the folder into your Vector Cell folder.
4. Open the background.ini file found in the Vector Cell folder. Copy and paste these lines to the top of the code (under the name):
[Tile]
Image = blank.png
ResizeIconByPercent = 75
OffsetIconByPercentX = 50
OffsetIconByPercentY = 50
5. Save the background.ini file then reapply Vector Cell through your ObjectDock settings.

Which text in the ini file do I have to displace, only the beginning or the whole text in the ini file?

You simply want to insert that little bit of code I wrote above into your background.ini file, right at the top, but underneath the name.
In the screenshots below, the one on the left is what the code looks like before editing it. The screenshot on the right is what it looks like after adding the code.
After you add the code, save it, close it, then reapply Vector Cell through your OD settings.

you can put separators in there-maybe that would help
