Camouflage WindowBlinds trouble (XP)

Saturday, December 19, 2009 by neophil78 | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I asked for a correction for it since years (even through support  @ stardock) and didn't get any till now

Camouflage WindowBlinds (under XP and with the XP version - well, both version in fact), don't let user have an explorer background and / or change it (which is very disapointing as there's a camouflage background existing ...

Though can anyone (specially from Stardock, but also anyone else who knows how to do) give me what to do and modify in the .uis file ?

Thanks

Unless I'm guessing wrong, you should be able to make changes to any Skin with Skin Studio (Pro).

I myself modified the Zippo Skin a long time ago with Skin Studio,
and added the Zippo Wallpaper to the Skin Package.
It wasn't that difficult.

I know that, what i want to know is what's wrong in Camouflage (XP substyle) to can't apply any EXPLRER background (not wallpaper)

(seems to me there's tens of vista's sections in the .uis file, don't know which are to cut off )

neophil78; what version of WB are you using, in 7 there is now a check box for textures for explorer backgrounds; Settings, Advanced settings (uis2/1 only). If that is checked not sure why you can't use backgrounds, there is no setting in SkinStudio that would tell a skin not to.

Latest version of WB. Of course i can use Backgrounds Explorer & Texture with WB skins, but it's not (and it has never been) working with Camouflage WB (under XP and with the substyle Camouflage for XP). That's why i'm asking, there's something in the .uis file (i believe) which is not correct (i noticed lots of vista's specifics, but as i don't get vista i'm not sure it comes from there ...)
