Two windows open?
Friday, December 18, 2009 by Richard Mohler | Discussion: Personal Computing
Everytime I click on lets say documents, two windows open at a time same thing with all windows even internet explorer too. Also when you click a folder you can't open by clicking on it you have to right click then choose open. Some of the buttons work but most don't. And I already did computer scan and no spyware or viruses found..Any suggestions? Just happened all the sudden...

Did that & figured out it was the mouse doing this.. Had pretty much the same one as the one doing it & change them out & it started working.. Do mouses go bad or does anyone know of a fix? Or just buy a new mouse?

I have a Logitech cordless mouse that double clicks with a single click.Sometimes it would do as you describe such as opening multiple windows or exe's. It got to be a royal pain in the a$$ so I stopped using it. It wasn't even a year old.

Did you try restoring to a previous time to when it didn't happen? I know it's kind of a last restore thing, but it's one I always fall back on.
