objectdock: dll/hook failed to load help

Hi there.
I am looking to purchase objectdock, I downloaded your demo version and installed it.
the problem is it does not work it keeps saying (objectdock: dll/hook failed to load.(shell) please reinstall and reboot.)
I click ok and it pops up at the bottom of my screen, I can right click it and enter the setup options and change things but it will not run programs or animated the scroll bar.
I have uninstaled it and re ran the startup and still the same problem ?
can you help at all thanks as i have seen this on my friends machine and i like it
i have windows xp pro with all patches installed
