New WinCustomize Poll: Favorite Wallpaper Types

The last poll we had on WinCustomize asked if you were upgrading to Windows 7, and the overwhelming majority of you said yes. I am also noticing quite a bit of screenshots featuring Win7, so I think it’s safe to say many of you are enjoying Win7 as much as we are.
This latest poll is about Wallpapers. Specifically, it’s asking what types of wallpapers you like most. I’d really like to get our wallpaper gallery going again, and this will help to get a general idea what is popular and what is not.

Meaning? You folks going to only except certain types of wallpaper? Just asking. 
I'm not going to vote on this one. For me it sometimes comes down to the mood that I'm in. Being able to use several different styles or types of wallpapers with a singles WB allows for those moods.

I have to agree with Wiz. For instance, I love sci-fi, but Kenwas's ships (and other works) would come under landscape/scenery...
and tbc, Shaunna and Frankief put a lot of love into their work... Just way too many many to give a 'just one' vote for, I.D.
I'm not griping...I feel blessed that WC has so many talented artists who contribute.

I've yet to see any I'd ever use. My choice is generally scenic (photography) or scifi walls.

Machine-generated walls/images....all of them...any of them [almost] are on my hate-the-most list.
I also would never appreciate or even bother looking at paintings done by monkeys [or any other animal for that matter].
Most of my 'collection' would be Sci-Fi [for want of a better term]...

A couple of years ago I did a similar poll on another web site and like here, reactions were pretty mixed. From the post’s, I get the impression there should be more categories but the list would go on forever. I also feel it’s true that it depends on other factors, like mood, game player, naturist etc! I choose 3d Abstract but that could probably be ‘shuffled’ around a bit to. Wouldn’t mind seeing a poll based on ’how often do you change your desktop wallpaper’.

Well, on resolutions, my base sizes are 1600x1200 (standard) 1920x1200 (widescreen) these can be cropped to fit most screens accordingly but not forgetting 1280x1024 and a new one to me = 1920x1080!

Looking again at the replies here, it would seem most people like high quality wallpapers, which makes me wonder why the original moderation standards were relaxed here, and if THAT is responsible for the demise of the wall section?

I've just had a look through the wallpaper gallery for November. It's a timely reminder of why I go elsewhere for my wallpapers.

Hmmm, Wallpaper vs DeskScape, maybe the community has made the switch. Some very nice DeskScapes are being done.
