Welcome to the Skinning Message Board at WinCustomize.
Please use this section to share your tips on creating skins. If you have hints and tips please share then by posting them here. Or if you are stuck trying to create a skin post your question here and hopefully someone will be able to answer if for you.
Since there are many skinnable programs out there please add the application name in your title so it is easier to distinguish which program you are reference. Something like "WindowBlinds: How do I change scrollbars" or "DesktopX: I need help grouping objects" are great subject lines.
Skinning is to be fun so lets help each other out in a most friendly way by offering hints and tips and trying to help each other solve skinning related questions.

I just happend to come across this link for Creating Windows XP Icons. I have been to the MSDN library before, but ahemmm....
Mr. Bill (Gates) is not the first place I go to for this type of information. ha, ha. Who knew?
