adding own textures

i love windows blinds7 and the cool textures however being me i want to add my own - i tried to watch the vid posted the other day but it was far too fast and no sound lol
can you only add your own textures if you are using windows7 or can i do it with my vista ultimate?

lol doc i was on windows7 for all of a day - well the tutorial vid 2 fast 4 me so will just mess about
