Hi, i have vista ultimate with deskscapes 1.02 and i wanted to know is how do install deskscapes 3 and where can i find and download the self installer of deskscapes 3 ? Please help im confused ?

Desktops 3 won't display wallpaper full screen in Vista. It isn't even listed in the Vista programs. All that is available is to view wallpapers in the window. This is awful, please fix it or get the old version back. There was no mention this was a beta, I would not have paid for an upgrade if I had known. Regretfully, metal1_99

In DeskScapes 3 choose your wallpaper and then go to the Background settings tab and choose the correct layout. You may need to choose stretch if the image is smaller than your desktop resolution.

Deskscapes 3 is not a beta. It used to be but the release version was launched earlier this month.
Unlike Deskscapes 2, the UI does not appear in the wallpapers tab, but instead has its own window. This can be opened via the startmenu link, or by right clicking the desktop and selecting Configure Deskscapes.

I am sorry, I was hasty to judge. The new Deskscapes has a learning curve to be dealt with. On Vista I am having success running it, on XP, the previews take forever to load. I have a fast pc and 1 1/2 Gigs of memory so something is not working as well as it could. Thanks

I lost a sister (she was 48) over the Christmas Holidays who had a heart attack 10 months previous and her body rejected her new heart she received in October 2009, Tami made it until the Sunday before Christmas, my mother just finished Kemo in Jan. 2010, I've been out of work for 2 years due to health issues... I believe my Karma got up and left with-out me. Up until 2 years ago, I took an Advil once in a blue moon, now I'm up to 5 or 6 different kinds everyday twice a day. I am sometimes quick to judge and might even be a little grumppy from time to time because of these freakin drugs I'm on. So you might say I'm a little stressed out...
