It’s been a while in the making, but lets all give a big shout to our newest Master Skinner, Vampothika (aka Kitty)! She has been a WinCustomize member since 2006, and since then has become one of the most well known for her unique and beautiful wallpaper and WindowBlinds designs. Her hard work and dedication has earned her the rank of Master Skinner, and we are proud she makes WinCustomize her skinning home.

For me it was my cat....totally deaf so bloody loud....

I hope you continue to love it, now that it IS your job.
Since I'm a little bipolar, and I'm old enough to be used to my ups and downs and how they relate to my job, I'm really not sure I would want my passion to be my profession. I knew a guy from high school who got a job as an ice cream taster at Bordon's after we graduated...he told me it really ruined the pleasure of eating ice cream for him. I'd hate for that to happen to my passion. Not to mention the sort of pressure placing a monetary value on the creative energies would cause...what happens when the rent is due but the creative muse is in "winter" mode?
I'm really happy for you, and I'm a little envious, but on the other hand, I know I'm having so much joy doing this just to be whole, that I don't want the status of my creativity to have to change right now.

I would hope no one thinks anyone is paying rent via skinning 
Maybe, if you knocked out 1 top notch skin every single week, for all 3 OS and this recession buggered off and people kept coming back and buying them everytime.. and.. you got two room mates...then.. maybe.
