Thought we would have a little fun seeing what "Life is like..." Forrest Gump type quotes everyone could come up with!
Let's get started!
Life is like a bowl of cherries, some are sweet, some are sour, but mostly it's just the pits...
or
Life is like eating a few prunes... after a while everything just turns to [BLEEP]...
I thought those up a few years ago, let's see what the community can come up with.

Life is like a toilet... sometimes you feel bright like the shiny porcelain, and others you just feel flushed.
I feel a bit that way today... hope I'm not coming down with something. Fingers crossed.

You need to cut back a bit there. With 
cramp as well you're not gonna be able to skin at all.
