Windowblinds 7 build 204 x86
Slow and lagging

I have Windowblinds 7 build 204 x86. Is it me, or it it slow all of the sudden. Specifically, the start menu mouseover effect lags as you mouseover your pinned programs area. It's just slower to highlight now and seems to lag. Overall,all my themes seem less responsive and I've tweaked every setting available. I had no issues with Windowblinds 6 and the first build or two of Windowblinds 7. I have uninstalled/reinstalled as well. Does anyone know of this issue or if it's been addressed?

There should not be any performance issues.
Are you using the new textures feature?

I'm running the same build except on a Vista Home Premium 64 bit system and I am not see any problems.
I know that this in no way helps but it may indicate that there is something else causeing your problems besides WBs.
Did you make any other changes to your computers at the same time when getting the last WBs update?

I haven't done anything differently-Would it hurt to uninstall windowblinds and see-then reinstall it after cleaning with cc cleaner and rebooting-but i spose I will have to download all the blinds that I have--I spose it is worth a try

scruf57 you won't lose any WB skins by uninstalling and then reinstalling the WBs program, but it wouldn't hurt to back them up.

Sorry to be a pest but before I unstall WB do I set it to Windows Classic or Windows Aero- I have Vista Home Premium?

i would set it to Windows Aero. Make sure that it has changed to the before uninstalling WindowBlinds.

Yeah, well it might have been sorted but I just go from one thing to the next! On the advice of others I set Vista to Aero and uninstalled WB7 and now Impulse does not show it in the listing. I run Object Desktop Launchpad and click WB. It says that WB is not installed and would I like to run Impulse to download it. I click yes, Impulse starts, the little clock like icon whirls around and then nothing!!!!!!
This is driving me mad!! HOW DO I GET WB7 BACK!

topofall after uninstalling WB did you run a clean up program and then reboot before reinstalling WB through Impulse?
If WB 7 is not showing under My Software and your Object Desktop Subscription is current then click on the Icon in the upper right hand corner of Impulse and make sure the box 'Show pre-release versions' is checked.

As far as I can Object Desktop is current, the only icon in top right is the 'question mark'. In the top left I have a blue square icon with a down arrow and clicking on that it says, amongst other things, 'show pre release versions'.
I can't install WB7 in Impulse because it's not listed.

crap, sorry I should have typed upper left hand corner. Did you click or select it?
If WB 7 is still not showing that would mean that your Object Desktop subscription is not current.

Object Desktop subscription is current until April 30th 2010 so it's not that!
I have found now that by clicking off 'show hidden applications', closing Impulse and restarting it then Windows Blinds 6 reappeared. I closed Impulse again and restarted and WB7 appeared as 'update available'!
Click on update though and up comes the 'registration for this product is not valid'. Reset data does not help though!

I also have problems-I don't know if it is from the update but ever since then I can't play any of my Pogo download games -I sure hope someone can help me-Please-even Oberon is looking into it and can't find anything yet-The games all worked fine until the latest updates-Thanks for any help
