Share a Favorite Song or Music Artist

I listen to all types of music, and since we have such a diverse community I thought it would be fun to share a favorite album or artist with others.
My pick today is Ziggy Marley.
He is the son of reggae legend Bob Marley, and in my opinion he sounds very much like him.
His latest release is on iTunes from a live performance at SoHo. Any fan of his should check this out.
Amazon also has a single of his for free, so it's a great opportunity for others to check out.

Actually, like that stuff a lot Po, very heartfelt, one of these days\years my bro-inlaw and I will get around to, get together, and perhaps put our original songs down on 'tape'
-Meanwhile, my friend friend Joe referenced a song a page or 2 ago I was currently trying to 'cover', Feel Good Inc - Gorillaz.
Heres what I have so far....bout half of it. All produced in Ableton Live 8 and my trusty Shure 58 mic. on my PC.

I saw Trower back in the days when he was with Procul Harum in the late 60's... thought he was a good guitarist then, but he went from strength to strength once he'd launched his solo career. I've heard it said that Trower is no more than a Hendrix wannabe, but that is far from truth as he has his own writing and playing style... he took the music beyond where he'd found it.
Another guitarist who was very much under-rated.... Alvin Lee of Ten Years After. The selected clip is 'Help Me' from TYA's first album, performed live at the Marqee Club.
Probably the most technically awesome guitarist who ever walked the planet is Roy Buchanan I saw him live twice in Brisbane (Oz), both concerts were exceptional displays of absolutely superb axe playing. Sadly, Buchanan was arrested for drunkeness and in shame hung himself in his cell.

Saw them live quite a few years ago. Great performance, but I felt a bit out of place - the next oldest person to me there was less than half my age...

Sorry Fuzzy, I guess I am lost then...
Same here. I briefly listened to a couple of the tracks, but the name of the band (Garbage) seemed synonymous with what I was hearing.
Each to his/her own, though... without our differences there'd be no variety.. not a lot to choose from.
Another artist who really gets my musical appreciation on a high is David Lindley
Lindley is a classy guitarist who does great reggae and some really catchy tunes. I have the album featured in the linked clip... top class, every single track.
