Going into hospital soon

Some of you might know I have a bad back. No less than two prolapsed discs in the lower spine. Well next Thursday I'm going into hospital for an injection in my spine. Scans have shown the nerve which goes into my left leg is twice the size of the right...
I should only be in overnight, but I'll have about a week at home recovering.
My back isn't too good right now. After moving my old 21" CRT to make way for a new widescreen, I'm paying for it with extreme pain.
Right now I'm on a maximum dose of Dihydrocodeine and Diazepam, the combined effect of which I'm lead to believe is like taking heroin... Needless to say I have this odd feeling of invincibility

Take it easy, sir. Get well soon. Living with that much pain must be horrific. It's great to see that you have not lost your sense of burgers... erm... humor, I mean.

Been going through severe back pain as well...which is why I haven't been skinning anything lateley...so I feel for ya. And I wish they'd give me something that made me feel like that! I was taking 80 mg Diazepam and 21 mg Vicodin and 600 mg Neurontin for my back problems and didn't feel anything from that...not even drowsy! I guess they make weak drugs over here.
