a stardock festival.. what do you think?

Jafo's trip to america has kind of got a fire lit under my brain, ive come up with an idea that i think would be awsome, but would take alot of planning (saving money is involved)
what do you guys think of having a stardock festival? where we all meet and get to see each other? we can take photos ect and have cola and sandwiches..... so for example if we planned it 5 years in advance people will get a chance to save their money to attend. america would be the destination as most are from america. what does everyone think? i know its a bit lame, but a cool idea! and not only that, we could get a chance to really meet everyone we know here, we can put faces to names and probably get to know a few more people as well.

yes when and where....but at least the idea is out there now....if it could be organized it would be wikked

Having one big festival might be hard to do, but regional ones suerly could be pulled together, don't you think?

Anyone who sets foot on my property and doesn't have Kahlua flavored coffee (and not that 'imitation' Kahlua shit...I want the REAL deal) better be wearing a teflon vest.
We have a thread called THe Beginning that seems to be started by some acid dropping monk from the future.
A thread were the main topic of discussion is bodily gas in ALL it's glory.
Don't even get me started on the Glen Beck fans.
Someone who has nothing better to do than to wait and see where Brad parks his car and photograph it.
And let's not forget skinhit.

Vampy has expressed a thought we've all had at one time or another. I like it. That worries me....I'm upping my Prozac.
Seriously, I think it's a bloody wonderful idea. There's nothing I'd like better than actually building a wall
and having all of us sign it and then seal it. A real Community Wall.
We gotta figure a way to get Ed there, or have it near his house, since Homeland Security and the FBI won't let him near an airport. Something about his middle name ... Hussein, I think. Whatever.

Doc has room at his new house......yeah!!!!!
What a hoot this would be. If we had it at Stardock, Brad would have to have about 1M handicapped parking spots. Of course he would probably block them all with Porsches.

I think this is a fantastic idea! We can put the barbeques in the handicapped spots in the parking lot!
Seriously though, this is a great idea and I hope Stardock would think so too. I would love to meet other skinners.

Hehe... I wonder how he'd react if 20-25 of the most active users/skinners turned up as well...
Anyway, I do need at least 5 years, if I'd ever manage to save up enough money.

Good luck, I tried to do that for those that lived in Texas a few years back. Got a hell of a lot of yeah's, good idea but when the time got closer all I got was, can't make it, something has come up, etc, etc. But its a great idea.

Not a lame idea, at all.
I sorta had the same idea, when following the DeviantART World Tour, but I doubt Stardock/WinC would ever do the same
But a user get-together would be agreat idea, but planning 5 years ahead might be a daunting task for some.
Heck, I myself hardly know what the hell I'll be doing tomorrow - let alone in 5 years from now
Might not even be associated with WinC by then.....
Anyway, great idea if the logistics works out.... when and especially where...
