Although I didn't agree with his politics or his lifestyle, he did serve his country to the best of his ability. R.I.P.  Ted.

 Leave a good thought. R.I.P.

Thanks for the good things you tried to do, Ted. As for the rest....leave it to a higher power.

He did a lot of things people dont realize he was responsible for, the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) he also personally straightened out a huge medical bill from my wifes MS, i sent a letter to his office years ago with the problem we were having with the insurance company and this huge medical bill, well 2 weeks later we get a letter from the insurance company saying not only is the bill paid, but the deductable as well and included an apology for taking so long to process the bill, I am deeply saddened by his passing, it is a huge loss for this country, especially the elderly and the blue collar guy, that was his strong points always supported the working stiff, and the elderly, gonna miss you Senator, miss you a lot

Who's Ted? (I'm not American, and I don't follow news very much... But perhaps I should just check CNN or something instead of look stupid here.)

EDIT: And I did.

Edward (Teddy) Kennedy Mickeko.  The brother of our late president Joh F. Kennedy.  He was a senior US senator.

A sad ending to the last bridge connecting us with the Camelot Era.  Equally sad is the passing of Eunice Kennedy on Aug. 11.  No family should have to endure 2 funerals in 2 weeks.

News reports that he will be buried in Arlington next to his 2 slain brothers.

May the Kennedy family find some peace.
