this is what the windows 7 looked like in its initial stages
sadly microsoft decided not to release it

would've been nice, i guess. i like it as is, tho. plus, when winfx is released, i'd bet we get some cool animations for open/close and min/max windows and possibly some animations for he start menu.

Though I like to "flash" my hardware, I still like to keep my OS unintrusive and minimalistic
Beside that I'd believe that, that version of W7 would break WBs neck....
Spot on. Really...simple is faster and better...smaller OS the better. But, I'm sure SP1, 2, and 3 will eat up your HDD.
