When duplicating a layer, the little window moves up and disappears.
Photoshop6 stangeness

Another odd question. My photoshop has been developing little quirks. The newest being when I want to duplicate a layer, the small window creeps upwards till it disappears and the only way to say yes is hit *enter*.
Any ideas why it happens?
Thank you, tbc

dont know what the problem is but if you drag the layer to the new layer button it wont ask you if you want to. ![]()

Thank you I.R. , but the problem is only when duplicating a layer. The little window that you click on to say ok or cancel moves up each time a layer is duplicated, until that little window is *out of sight* . Making a new layer has been working just fine...*fingerscrossed*. ![]()

TB, with the layer you want duplicated highlighted, just hit control J for the duplicate layer and it won't ask you! Much faster than dragging of using the menu!

even better than dragging to the button
keyboard shortcuts are neat ![]()
