Waste of ... Time
Tuesday, August 4, 2009 by OhHayThere | Discussion: ObjectDock
Bought OD Plus some time ago, today tried DreamScapes (which let me install, but won't rum, of course, due to win 7 errors) and it installed impulse as well, though ok, whatever...
So it says: hey, there is an update to objectdock, I think: great, as it was not updated for years.
Downloaded, installed just to find out it's for freaking free version, jesus... what a waste of time
Oh, and I love your deskscapes update, it says: error retrieving data, fantastico.
After uninstalling impulse, decided to uninstall dreamscapes as well... But wait, it requires freakin impulse to uninstall dreamscapes, ....

I run Object Dock on Windows 7 RC 1 64 bit with no problem, There might be one if you keep a dock at bottom of screen mine are a Tabbed one on top and a dock on the right and left side of the screen

I think the only problem on 64 bit is the system tray issue...

yeah i run Object Dock Plus on Windows7 RC 1 64 bit with no issues either except the zoom dock i have at the bottom of the screen wont space it self on top of the taskbar, and then the start menu launcher....which i dont even use so....i feel lucky it works as good as it does so far...all i did for the zoomer was change the spacing manually in the config screen
....and deskscapes DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 7...dont even understand how you got it to "INSTALL"....wont even go there for me

Don't experience any (got my docks in top though).
Anyway, it should at least not allow to install software and uninstall without requiring additional software.
Updates system should be fixed as well + it asked to uninstall my old OD first, so it's not an update, just reinstall.

[email protected] However, deskscapes doesn't support Windows 7 yet (I believe). But OD should work just fine, unless you are on a 64 bit system...then I'm not sure.
