Site stopped working with Firefox 3.5.1
Saturday, July 25, 2009 by Jerry LeDoux | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Yesterday the site stopped working correctly with Firefox 3.5.1. I get a white page with some images and links. The forum pages seem to load correctly but not the actual site. It's fine in IE7. The site has always been a little slower to load in Firefox. I thought it might be a Firefox issue but other sites load correctly. I'm not sure exactly what's happening are if it's something I can fix or a site issue.

Try clearing the Recent History - Tools-Clear Recent History and make sure there is a check mark beside Cache. I have no issues with the site using FF 3.5.1.

Firefox 3.5.1 does not have the "Clear Cache" option. That's why I went back to a older version.

Eh?
Tools > Options > Privacy > Private data > clear now. In there you will see 'cache' etc.

Whenever I went to Tools>Clear Private Data in the old versions of Firefox I could clear the Cache that way. They took the "Clear Private data" off the Tools menu in 3.5.1.

Looks like it's there to me.
You need to click on the arrow beside Details to show it.

The only browser that's really working well on this site for me is Opera. Firefox and IE are not working very well on WC for me. Opera is working very well. I don't have to wait a minute for pages to load like with Firefox and IE. This started recently and seeminly out of nowhere. so it's Opera for me!
