Cannot get the clear or opaque parts of a WB to show the way they should.

I am running Vista Ultimate and this problem just sort of happened. Maybe I changed a setting I should not of done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have Aero turned on...did it turn itself off and you not realize it?

I am sorry but I do not know how to do a screenshot. It only effects those WB with opague or clear parts. If you would load the diamond theme I'll explain what I mean. Bottom task bar is clear but there is a solid white line behind the task bar so it looks white and not opaque. If you press the start button what I see are solid grey parts where it should look opaque. tell me where I can get my WB configuration

carguy, that could be but I don't know where to look for this. By the way everything works great on windows 7 RC, I have a dual boot setup, thanks for your help

Open up WB's and click on the System Info Tab, then click on Copy Text, come back to here and right click and select paste.

Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 1
I believe you need a higher Graphics Experience score to support per pixel (transparency)

Sargan....run the Windows Experience update (Update my score)
Windowblinds thinks you can't run it because your experience score doesn't reflect your hardware.
Control Panel > Performance Info & Tools > Update My Score

I think somewhere's I saw that the experience fact needs to be at least 2.5 to run transparency. Have you made any recent hardware changes? Not all that familiar with Vista but you shuld be able to rerun your experience factor, or I think you can.

Click on your start button and follow Lantec's directions...
Click on Control Panel
Then Performance Info & Tools
Then Update My Score

A screenshot of what you are talking about would help alot. Is this with all WB's you try?
Go into WB's configuration and copy and past your sytem information also.
