The article says there's a big security breach in all XP users using IE. It did not specify which one so I'm assuming all versions. The breach allows hackers to get inside and take control od users pc's when they visit sites already hacked. Just thought I'd get it out there. Beware peoples......the bugs're loose...lol

Is it a warning or an advertising ploy. Would M$ stoop to scare tactics to sell XP users on Windows7? Nah,that can't be it.

You are too trusting of microsoft. Why else would they stop support for windows xp if they think they can't move people to 7 by scaring them

I understand from an article in the Minneapolis MN Star tribune it does not effect IE 8
