LOL! I sorta got tired of waiting for a response, so I dug into the skin to try to figure out the problem. Finally deduced what I wanted to change is hard-coded, and I can't do anyrhing about it! And, since we can't delete posts, that was the next best thing I could do...sorry! ![]()

If u were talking about the all programs text try adjusting your menu text colors in classic colors MJ

I was referring to the programs list text color. In classice colors the menu text is dark blue, in the programs list it shows up as white...and that looks really crappy, cause the list is a light grey. This is the first time that my changing the color didn't take...I coded the change in, and it shows up in the code editor, but it is not taking. Something is not working right!
I'm referring to Vista...

Those text colors are a real puzzle.
Try playing with the item mousover text color. Unfortunatly that will also change the text color on the left side of the startpanel as well.

I forgot to post the solution to the problem! Thanks to vStyler for his help! ![]()
For the solution to this problem:
delete the code for the right side Mouse over item
set the normal text color for the Mouse over item to OS default, and the mouseover state to white.
