Looking at the business section of the local newspaper I found this article about a new 3D software being offered by AGI free for public non-commercial use. It deals with developement of space hardware e.g. satellites, exploration of the solar system, deep space probes etc. There are two links...

The first is for the app and the second is for a free developement kit user license. All you need do is register (free) and the app. you can download. I'm going after it because I really can get into this sort of stuff...WOWSER!!!
