I was commenting on vStylers krome thread a few days ago (quite a silly remark actually), about being able to see my reflection in the chrome. That got me thinking...
I don't think it's something that is likely to be implemented any time soon, but it would be really cool.
Imagine this:
The ability to create an overlay from a live webcam stream. Add to that the possibility of add effects to the stream. This would actually make it possible to create a "real" reflection on metal surfaces, and probably all sorts of whacky cool things.

Well, realtime processing of a webcam stream should raise a few eyebrows...
I DO want regular overlays though... My skinning ideas go beyond static imaging.

Actually version 5 allowed for a reflection map that sort of did that. It went away with version 6. I made a few skins with them but can't recall which. V's Naked skin would have worked well with that feature.
