Where did this picture come from?

a few years back I found this picture somewhere, sent it to all my friends and lost it 2 computers ago.
1 of my friends kept it and never lost it and sent it back to me 1 hour ago.
now i want to know where the hell i downloaded it from! could you help me?

Um, you shouldn't be displaying someone else's image unobscured due to copyright.

There's no copyright notice on the image 
Kinda hard to ask if someone knows what it is without showing it.

No copyright notice is required. For all we know the site you got it from had a disclaimer on it and most likely did. You can reduce the size or obscure large portions of it. Posting it full size is disrespectful in the least and illegal in the worst.

depending how long had this picture, it can be anywhere now... well if it was recent, I suggest you check your browser history. The probably with google is that you can't search the keywords that might be associated with the picture, however, if you remember that you found it google it might be easier

Fine i doodeld on it, and resized it, all i wanted to do was find the original image location, so i could download a hires version of it 
The original name of the file is just Abstract. and there is no other information in it.
any ideas now that i got the legal mumbojumbo under controll?

Nice, ty Lantec although the best match was the same size as mine, i was hoping that there was a hires v. of it but seems there isnt, anyway Thanks for good help.
