help with bootskin xp

i tried to upload it in this site but it got rejected i dont no why.
coming to the problem i created a bootskin when i import it i cannot view the image its
blank. can annyone help me where i have gone wrong. you can download the file at the above specfied link.
its standard 4-bit bitmap 680x480, plz help me.

I don't know the technicals about it, or what program you made it with, but when I opened the image in Photoshop, it is actually an 8-bit bitmap, with 11 colors. It needs to be saved as 4-bit with 16 colors.
When saving it (in Photoshop), you want to choose "Perceptual" for the palette, not "Exact."
Also, the size is wrong. Your image is 642 x 842, and your Progress Bar is 21 x 9, not 22 x 9.
Oh...one more thing...you spelled "Edition" incorrectly - you spelled it Edtioin.

It's a little program that puts it all together for you, won't work if there is something messed up about the images, so you'll know before trying to upload that it's not going to work and will get rejected, without having to wait for it to go through moderation to start scratching your head on what's wrong.

actually i am not able to view the thumbnail preview at bootskin, its only black in colur. and if i still apply it i get a startup error

thanks for the suggestion. when i view the properties it shows 4 bit which is 16 colours i guess. i have increased the wallpaper size by few pixels because so it can fit into the screen exactly

xp only wants 640x480 - mess with it and xp will think it's invalid and won't use it, pretty much same with progress bar 21x9 and it needs to use the same 4bit palette as the bitmap, and the names all need to match correctly

maybe ... the file is currupted ....
maybe prob with color scheme , but it doesnt have some li nk with thumbnail ....
btw ... which is the prob ... didnt really understood ... which image i black .... the image when u boot your machine or a thumbnail preview at bootskin program ??
