Something Finally Happened in My Hometown...!
Monday, June 1, 2009 by Mirsguy | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
My normally quiet and somewhat uneventful hometown had quite a bit of action Friday morning. Scary thing is that all of the action at the end of the story (details in the external link) happened just 1 block away from my parents house!
Thank God my parents were in the house at the time and not on the road!
Anyway, it's not often you see a bizarre story like this, and since it hits me close to home, I thought I'd mention something.
Cheers.

Well, not me anyway. Maybe that's the key... don't think you came from an animal, don't act like one.

Actually acknowledging that I AM an animal gives me the tools necessary to prevent the escalation process in the first place.
The first time I was homicidal, I didn't believe in evolution. I believed in God the Father, that Jesus Christ His only begotten son was my personal Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit dwelt in me. It was the idea that this personal relationship with the Divine gave me special insight into what was "right" and "wrong" and gave me forgiveness for my weaknesses for all eternity, that made me somehow a little bit more superior, and put me in the same mindset as Hitler...that I was doing the work of God by exterminating these demon seed off the planet, that I was merely His handmaid carrying out God's Will, that scared my husband at the time to realize he needed to get me out of that situation before I carried out the plan that God had placed on my heart, and end up....well, pretty much like that guy from Merriam, Kansas, who shot Dr. Tiller last Sunday in the foyer of his church.
The wolf within, is a lot less malignant than an angry God.

yup, sounds like a woman to me.
It's nature's way of having you guys stick around with just one woman...it's your nature to want more than one, so some of us are born with the propensity to turn into a new one for you everyday!

I got pissed at one of my bosses once.... got a nail gun and nailed his toilet door shut (about 50 nails) after putting a couple of laxettes in his hot chocolate at morning coffeee break. The desired result, being that he crapped himself cos he couldn't gain entry.
Sure do... a bad hair day and they go on a violent rampage putting others at risk. Guess that's why I'm so opposed to anyone and everyone having the right to bear nail guns... too great a risk for multiple fatalities in too short a time when somebody has a gripe or indegestion and suddenly hates/blames the world
Yeah, I know, I'm gonna get flamed by those who believe it is their right to own nail guns to repair their homes, but honestly, even responsible nail gun owners have unnecessaary fatalities that could have been prevented had there been NO nailgun on the premises .... eg, the little girl who shot her 3yo brother recently. Tell me that makes sense... and when there are more nail guns on the streets than locked safely away in the toolbox, it's a recipe for disaster and too many innocents suffer
Very good, BONEHEAD, I love a play on words, and this one gave me a good cackle. ![]()
Thanks for the laughs, bud, you helped make my day that bit more enjoyable. I'd been having a bit of a bad hair day and had evil thoughts of getting out my stapler, going out to my neighbour's mailbox and stapling all his letters together with a few hundred cos his barking dog keeps me awake most nights. However, your post made me rethink... now I'm just gonna teach his dog to chase parked cars... eventually its nose will get too sore and it'll cease barking.

That's just awesome right there!
Yep, and the thing is, I vented my frustration without causing him actual harm. OK, he (or should I say his wife) had some extra laundry to do, but he eventually saw the funny side of it and all was forgiven... on both sides. I didn't appreciate his earlier outburst, but it didn't warrant any of the things my workmates suggested. Had I vented in that way and there was a serious injury or fatality, forgiveness and the subsequent friendship would not have eventuated... just unnecessary pain for his family, me paying for it on the wrong side of the bars. Fortunately, common sense prevailed and we were able to move on, but sadly that isn't always the case and too often harm is done in the heat of the moment.
No, not me! I only want and need one woman... cos mrs starkers is like that song: "Im Every Woman". When I need good and patience to match, she's a saint; when I need naughty and kinky, she's Madonna after a few vodkas; and if I need discipline and putting in my place, she has no hesitation to become the mother-figure and put me over her knee for a good spanking.
Yup, I got it all in one.
