A late spring cleaning

System maintenance, that must be a good thing...

Auslogics Boostspeed

Comodo System Cleaner

TuneUp Utilities

Glary Utilities

Iobit Advanced System Care

... I don't think using them all is a good thing ... Currently I have IoBit Advanced System Care ... I had it auto maintaining my computer for a few months, then I disabled it. It has been disabled the last few months now, and my computer is fine... Which indicates to me that it doesn't really do much for me... Perhaps I should try something else, or just go back to waiting a performancedrop and solve it manually like I used to... I don't know... I don't even know why I'm posting this... Do I want to say something? I suppose I can retrofit a reason for this post... What do you use? And does it feel as if it actually makes sense to have something auto maintain the system on a daily basis?

Can't trust those programs to act without supervision, Mick: Especially the ones that "automaintain" your registry.

It's like trusting Politicians to be honest. LOL.

Politicians arn't honest?

I used a registry cleaner once it screwed up my computer so bad I had reformat my harddrive. I think it was called Registry Cleaner. I'll never make that mistake again.

I know precisely what I can trust my software to do and not do.

I wish I could say THAT about politicians... The only thing I know I can trust when it comes to them is that they're untrustworthy.

Might I recommend Iolo System Mechanic? It's legit and it does just about every bit of spring cleaning you need. Or at least, that I need. But I don't do constant porn searches and frequently reformat my hard drive, so it all depends on the user I guess...

Anywho, it gets the job done.
