I like to restore old photos......they come up so well....going through the families ancient ones steadily....very rewarding....
I also end up photoshopping friends wedding and baby pics to have a few special ones...

1. Photo retouching. Everything from minor color corrections to compositing images together; portrait retouching, removing people or objects, etc.
2. I use it (along with Adobe InDesign) to create print advertisements for clients. I most recently did advertising postcards for weddings and senior portraits for a photography studio.

I and my father in law own a CD/DVD Duplication Service Company called RedBoot Productions Inc. I use PS for making CD/DVD labels and Disc designs. Current design for a band called Road Kill:

Yeah mate i made up a template, then i just took the files to a mate that has his own printing shop,
and he printed them on some vinal that they use for cars.... then i had to cut them out and just stick them on....

Do tell us more...

It's a long story...but essentially it was what NOT to do with Photoshop....if you wanted a wall approved....
Most of what I do is in Paintshop Pro, anyway...as I've used the proggy for years... back around v3 and before.
A more legitimate use...
When it really matters.... my old man and his...during WW2 in Pitt Street, Sydney.
Both gone now.

Wow Jafo that's realy cool mate....
How long dose it take to restore a photo like that....
Reply #19 Thursday, April 16, 2009 2:39 AM
Depends...usually a few hours....though the hardest part is when it's an old printed photo which is comprised of ink pixels which are a pattern within themselves...smudging or 'pushing' pixels affects the texture....
