Help with .NET Framework 3.5

...can't install

Monday, April 13, 2009 by TYCUS | Discussion: Windows Vista

At this point i'm already sick of this Update problem..., the thing is that last night i ran out a windows update scan and two updates poped up:

so then i start the download prosses, it finished with no problem, the two of them seem to need a reboot of the pc to finish the install, i did it but then when i look again for more updates, both of them showed up again! I didn't get any error or any kind of wrong instalation..., what is goin on?

Look in recently installed updates. If the service pack updates are on the list, just ignore the update notification.Chances are it's just a bug in reading the installed updates.

TYCUS before celebrating.... try install the latest one from MS: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en

Choose your language or standard, if not available with your language,

If it will offer clean install, your .Net Framework do not work correctly, but if it offer repair, use it - Just in case!

Those updaes can be corrupted, because registry key or log file. It will not explode* your PC*

*no promises. Take your own risk, stardock, me, or anyone is not responsible, if your pc actually explode... however, we may offer sympathy thread. On some special cases, we may offer 0.0001 Dollar money back minus fees.

There is something corrupted in your file system.

If CMD with admin rights and command (no quotes) "sfc /scannow"  doesn't report any conflicts....

Then hide those updates, even some suggest rename one Windows folder.... but that will cause more issues....

so you PC didn't explode - i am glad!

Can you help me with those ANTS that i have - really.... and no, i haven ate (any psychedelic) mushroom (or similar..... yet)....

nor any kind of drugs....

Ok it seems that spring.... or whatever.... is close.... is it safe to go outside?! lol

Help with .NET Framework 3.5---
I had that issue a year back. It was telling to "turn windows features on or off"; (??!!!??) I've been wandering a few weeks about what does that mean; which and where the feature is and is it on or off. Again, guess work had been more helpfull than windows's help.
About updates--- I'm having the same, but with defender's updates. Somehow, defender is not loaded half the time (guess work and a lot of luck helped me find this out) Now, all I have to do is which of them "Hotfix" messed that out. And also, and I'm really not joking, because all this fits in what you were all saying upthere, my hard-drive is blowing-up, for no reason, about 40GB. Then I delete any small file (1GB to 3GB), and it drops down of 50GB. No I don't use defrag-disk anymore, because it was causing the same thing all the time when running, and was running all the time I guess. Now I use JKDefrag (takes only two hours, and half that when in safe-mode avast off). I thought that about the system backing-up itself, but the only back-up the system make is "system restore" (it takes a lot of keys to log 40GB of em)lol
I think that I'm the one who's gonna blow-up (my hard-drive that is;)
