Does Ayone Else See This Problem?
Cursor Flicker
Wednesday, March 18, 2009 by DrJBHL | Discussion: Community
I would have posted this under Site Issues, but I couldn't find that.
So, from this morning, when I navigate to WC, my cursor flickers and disappears, independent of whether CursorXP is in use or not and happens before and after uninstall/reinstall.
This happens with Opera, ie8, and FF3.
It's happening only on the WC homepage, but not at any other site and stops after I leave the Homepage for Galleries or Forums.
I'd post my system info, but I don't think that's relevant as it only happens on the Homepage.
Anyone else seeing this or is it time to see the Ophthalmologist? ![]()

Do not adjust your set.(or your glasses)
I have had the same thing happen,Doc. Mainly when mousing over the toolbar/titlebar area.I cleared cookies, cache, and cursed, but it still did it. It only did it on the WC site, which I thought odd.
It seems to be ok now though.
Now why didn't I think of that,WG?

Just went back to the Homepage, Wiz....still doing it...it's never done that before. Could it be the Tekzilla-Fence Vid post?

When the home page loads look quickly at the Tekzilla article, there is a brief image there before the correct one loads.Afterwards the cursor will flicker. If I then mouse over the Tekzilla article graphics the flicker stops for me.

I, too have the cursor issue, but worse, the Tekzilla news item won't play so I went to the website and downloaded it and when I tried to play it my computer blue screened on me. I think I don't want anything to do with this news articles!

I got it too. If I don't move the cursor it disappears and then flickers when I move it.
I thought I was having a stroke![]()

First time I'm happy that other folks have the same problem, sorry for saying that. ![]()
So Jafo, any ideas on how to fix it? Or should we just wait for tomorrow and bring up to support?

Must have been before my time
Yeah...I got it now. ![]()
So the flashing cursor and the numbness in the left arm was just psychological.

I don't use CursorXP but - yes, my humble cursor also freaked out when I tried starting the Tekzilla-Fence vid.

Yeah....mines freakin out too.....or maybe my meds are kickin in!
But if you blink your eyes at the same rate as the cursor you won't notice it.
But I think it's related to the newest post about fences...as soon as thats all done loading it seems to stop.
