Descapes stops working after full screen application

When I run any full screen application (like a game) then after I exit it, the Descapes stops working (the picture is static). Right clicking and enable/desable does not help. The easiest way to start is switch user -> login back.
It actually works like for 1 second after the I exit the full screen application, and only after that it freezes the picture. Otherwise computer works fine even with the frozen image. When image is frozen, CPU goes to low percentage when idle, when Deskscapes is runnung, CPU usage is around 20%
My system: Vista 32 home premium, Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.7GHz, 8800 GTX, 4Gb RAM (only 3 accessable), RAID 0 HD.

So, that means that everybody else does not have this problem? That this is unique only for me? Darn! can I get my 20$ back?

I run into a different problem in that I am using the Photo Dream deskscape and while it starts back up again after quitting a game (Aero disables when the OpenGL game runs, then re-enables when it quits), the image in the Photo Dream never changes after that. So either it doesn't keep checking its list of shuffled images, or doesn't reinitialized correctly, etc.
