Dock as Draw
Auto-centering?
Tuesday, March 3, 2009 by SEB9 | Discussion: ObjectDock
I have a dock positioned at the bottom of my desktop, its set as a Draw, but it moves around the bottom of the desktop/screen randomly.
My question is this, as draw, is there a way to get this dock to auto-center on the bottom of my desktop/screen.
I'm running Vista Biz hooked up to a 42" LCD TV - HTPC so the moving dock can be along way from where its expected to be, and a pain to get to with an integrated controller.

I think you're talking about a tabbed dock. I think what you want to do is get it where you want it (I'm not seeing a "center" setting). Then right click on an empty area of the dock or on a tab - not on an icon. On popup menu that appears, top item should be "View" - mouseover that and get its submenu, click on "Lock Dock Position". That'll keep it from being accidently dragged around.
