In oderr to use (apply) themes that you download you will new a program to do that.  If you download an ObjectDock Theme then you need ObjectDock to install and apply it..

If they are backgrounds you put them in Documents/Stardock/Objectdock Library/Backgrounds.Alternately you can put them in C/Program Files/Stardock/Objectdock/Backgrounds. That's with Vista,XP should be about the same thing.

Then open OD config, select the background and apply.

Same goes for icons but in the icons folder.

Note:Some things like running indicators must be put into Program files to function properly.

1. Create a folder and call it "Object Dock Zips" (just so you know where to put things). Then, extract the zip file into that "Object Dock Zips" folder. Open Windows Explorer and find your C/Programs'Object Dock/ Backgrounds  Folder and drag the extracted folder(file) to there.

Now that theme should appear in your OD Configuration Program.
