TechRepublic Takes a Look at Fences

TechRepublic.com had a feature today showcasing Fences, and how you can use it to keep your desktop organized. They even have a step-by-step guide showing how to setup Fences.

Ditto for me,plus I use DXThemes and hide my desktop icons but not everyone does so it's all about choices.
Great software that is both functional and free,whats not to like?

Exactly. That is what customization is all about- choices. For me, I use Object Dock to launch most of my programs, but I like to use my desktop as a "dump". Fences then gives me the ability to clean up my dump without having to hide all my icons. It's not for everyone in the same way that DesktopX and Object Dock aren't for everyone. Choices are good!

Actually, scratch that. I tried again and got it to re-install with no problems! 
I'll have to give it a try before I come up with a firm opinion.
