Icons descriptions
Friday, February 6, 2009 by MrJerry | Discussion: Fences
Hi. I wanted to know if it is possible to hide icon descriptions. I mean just those names under icons on desktop. I want clear desktop just with images of my programs, no names no writtings, just pictures. Any suggestions?

Click on an icon, press 'rename', delete the title and replace it with a single 'space' (using the spacebar). Do it for each one. Problem solved.

Well that "spacebar trick" doesnt work for me. At least for my vista... When I put into a name just a space or even more spaces, it automaticly corrects the name into the previous name. And I would love to keep the icons name, so when I mouseover, there will be details with name.

Agreed. I love Fences, but the option to show icons only (i.e., no text) would be a great feature.
