IE 8

Sunday, February 1, 2009 by RoseNell | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hello everyone.  I miss being on the site.  I have been working alot lately.  Not much time for computer play.  This may already have been adressed but I was wondering if many are using the new IE 8.  I haven't not switched over yet and I was wondering if there was any reason too.  It looks nice but I am also comfy with IE7.  I also have FireFox.  Just a thought.

Thanks  RoseNell

I have been using it on and off, but will not move over completely until it's out of beta.

I've have used it for a couple of months, but just rolled back to IE7.  Some of the bugs with the RC1 are just a pain.  Once they get corrected and IE8 is released I will reinstall it.  It has some very nice features.

I tried the Beta and the RC1. I ran into a screen "You are running ie with accelerators disabled" despite having chosen them. To try to fix this I was directed to "Live" to install it despite having it on my machine. Also, HP Web Print was offered and when chosen I was redirected to HP and despite enabling it, ie8 con't to show error mesages.

Uninstalled it. ie7 runs just fine. I use Opera for almost everything now since FF3 turned slow.
