There's a place north of Melbourne [Australia] called Ballaarat ....it's the goldfields, etc.....typically 10 degrees centigrade cooler than Melbourne....and Melbourne ain't the hottest part of Oz [hottest I recall was around 45]....it has a lake....called Lake Wendouree ....usually has swans and stuff....the usual shit....
Yesterday it CAUGHT FIRE.
Anyone doubting global warming is talking out of their arse.

In this stinkin' heat Jafo, I'd seriously consider moving to that shithole [Melbourne.. sorry, I hear it's a blizzard 24/7] but I'd kill to be there... just not when it's on fire

It was 30 here this morning at 4 am. It is up to 41 now...heading for 70 today! The weather people are telling us that this is last of this very cold (by Florida standards) weather this season. I sure hope they are right!

Yeh, maybe next week we'll have the other of our 2 seasons.......cold as hell and hot as hell.
