I was outside today and saw the mountains covered in snow and thought I would start a thread on views from your house. Join in and show us your surroundings! Here is a view from my back yard.

Last September a herd visited me for my overgrown lawn - too wet to mow that time of year, soon be spring again here St Brigid's day Feb 2nd. They obviously did not know what I do to them and their ilk.
A week ago upon arrival back to Ireland from San Diego this was what it was like.

They mooved right along eventually, not by me though as my property fronts major road so I could not legally turn them out to cause danger to traffic.

Deer run around in my backyard...sorry no pix, it's dark out. Even on a perfect day, though, it's nothing to compare to some of the beauts I've seen here. Nor sunsets to compare either...

This was last Sunday, from my balcony....the day was supposed to be sunny and in the 50's, but we got hit with an inversion layer.

Ha yeah, there are still a lot of empty lots from when the fires swept through several years ago.
The lot behind us is still empty, but they're building a house over on the left where that small fire hydrant is.

There's a new house down the street from here that my dad refers to as the "Taco Bell house" (because of the architecture). ![]()

I would post a picture, but everything is white, i am jealous of all the pictures where it looks like it is warm, right now it is 15 degrees F, and its going down to zero tonight, we have had a tough winter here in New England, between the ice storms and the snow (seems like every sunday it snows) i normally love the winter but there hasnt been any happy medium here. Bebi Bulmas pictures really made me think of relocating south, i think i say that every winter,
