Well folks, I went and done it again. As some of you know, after eight years or so struggling here with poor overworked Nellie with her 512mb ram max, I purchased a new system in June only to have it stolen in September. Tonight I ordered another new Dell. This time I got the Studio XPS with the brand new Intel Core i7 920 processor. She has 8GB Tri-Channel ram and an ATI HD3450 256MB.I hope to be able to smoke the pants off of Apo 3d which will hardly run on my current system. She also comes with a 23" HD monitor. She is being shipped to my workplace where she will reside until I get ADP to come in and set up a security system in my home. I am not looking forward to learning Vista but this too shall pass. Will keep you informed of the progrsss. Look for some awesome new stuff from me when all is up and running! No more waiting ten minutes to get Photoshop up and running or taking 5 hours to render an Apo image!

Congrats!! I just hope the low down scum that stole the last one isn't reading this post. Looks like we can expect some hot new stuff comin our way. Oops, I didn't mean to say hot...I meant cool new stuff!

If they are reading this, they will be in for a rude awakening if they try to come in here again. My husband wanted me to wait until we got moved into the new house but from the weird sounds
coming from my tower, I don't think Miss Nellie is long for this world and I just can't do without my computer!

Nice specs, Frankie, you'll sure have Apo smoking with those for sure. I'm happy for you and here's hoping you derive much enjoyment from it for a very long time.
