I'm turning into a FISH!

I bet that got your attention
Actually, I'm bored, the forums are down, and I'm doing this from the main site, because I've spent 2 days straight, making NEMO widgets, I swear if I see another clock I'll rip my hair out lol [who am I kidding, I like it!] I'm not even a big Nemo fan, well yeah, I have the movie [well, got it for my kid years ago] but it all started with that shark.. the BRUCE.. and now I'm in a rut.. clocks, clocks and more clocks.. and the odd horror widget here and there.. I gotta do something else! Yesterday, when the forums were down, I somehow ended up in photoshop all afternoon, following a ZOMBIFICATION tutorial... it went well, the pic I made was awesome, then as I 'thought' I was closing off IE.. Yeah.. you guessed it, ps7 went down the toilet along with my Zombie pic
If anyone else is bored, please, post about your day, it really is lifeless when the forum is down ![]()
Edit.. Well that figures, just as I post this, the forums are back
well, what did you do today anyway ![]()

It's cool though, Making Zombies out of folks is what I'm going to attempt to do next ![]()
My son wanted that 'Over the Hedge' movie for his 17th Birthday 2 weeks back, yeah 17, and he wants it, well I'm 44 and I wanted to see it too, and it was pretty cool!! better than some of the real movies you see out there.. dare I mention 'Rectuma'![]()
You''ll get you mojo back hon, can't keep a good Aussie chick down ![]()

So long as you don't start smelling like one as well. Hehe ![]()
I think I might be turning into a vegetable... a cabbage to be more specific.
Yeah, I should have known eating curried cabbage would have repercussions... other than the obvious.
When I said that Brad Pitt was one lucky mongrel for scoring Angelina Jolie, mrs starkers quipped that
I was just jealous and she could see that I was turning a deep 'vege green' with envy.
Hmmm, so I went and checked myself out in the mirror - yeah, that's the one with tape on
it to prevent shattering - and sure enough, I've got a short stalk and have taken on a green tinge. ![]()
So was I in Photoshop? Not unless Doc, Ed or mrs starkers have been up to their old tricks.

Nah, I've been in the 64 bit version of the Windows 7 beta for the last couple of days setting
it up how I want/like things to be, so haven't had time to feel bored. Besides, this Win 7 is hot
to trot and great to use - the best version of Windows EVER - and I just lurvs new toys. to keep
me occupied. What I really like about Win 7 is the user definable auto-rotating wallpapers that
can be set to change every 5 minutes...if you like. Hmmm, that means I can have the Playboy
centerfolds from the last 20 years rotating on my desktop every day. I may never open another
window ever again... unless I can figure a way to do everything in the taskbar thumbnails. ![]()
So, does this zombification tutorial have a section on turning bankers into zombies, and if not,
how to kill those who already are with pins and voodoo incantations?
It's a shame about your zombie getting flushed... but look at it this way, that one was practice
and the next will be even better. ![]()

lol starkers, mate, when you go shopping, do you EVER buy anything other than cabbage? WAIT.. I know your response.. YES --> CURRY POWDER![]()
Hell yeah, I could zombify a banker, put a real hex on one too![]()
starkers.. I don't see myself getting past XP, the word FORMAT scares the sh#t outta me, I'm keeping XP for as long as humanly, and technically possible ![]()

i got no sympathy for shark victims in aussie anymore....especially when the news keeps telling everyone that heaps of sharks are around atm.......and yet they STILL go in and swim.........talk about shark bait....... if i still lived at redcliffe, i wouldnt be in the ocean......
the othernight they were talking about some shark attack and how someone saved the victim and the reporter said "but he says he isnt the hero"
and i yelled out from my pc room 'the shark is the hero!!"....... funny......my fiance got a good laugh out of that one.![]()

When I get bored I email fake resume's to Barry Manilow, requesting to be his new stage manager-slash-roadie. I enclose this pic..

And I sign it 'I can't smile without you. Love, Jack'

It was the sharks ocean long before man decided to swim in it... and if people wanna ignore thart fact... serves 'em right if they get eaten... or walk out on the beach, look down and wonder where their other leg is.
The only people safe in the water these days is bankers... no self-respecting shark would put one it its mouth. That's why you can't get the dog to chase 'em off when they come to foreclose... dog's scared of getting salmonela poisoning and dying.
Damn, you can't even shoot one... even at point blank range, the bullet will deviate around the intended target and embed itself in the person standing directly behind. Now you know how Anglelinas Jolie did it in 'Wanted"... they got a banker body-double for that scene.

I was like that to begin with and had my PC down the shop regular as clockwork to get this or that I stuffed up fixed... but it was so unnecessary and there's nothing to it. Put it this way, if you can install a proggie like Photoshop, register and activate it, you can reformat and install Windows 7. All you have to do is press delete during setup to change boot priority to DVD in the Advanced BIOS settings, save, insert the Win 7 disc and reboot. All you do is follow the prompts like you would with any program installation, select your country location, the drive you want it on and and let it do all the work... and voila, less than 20 minutes later you have a brand new OS to play with.
REALLY, it IS that SIMPLE... much simpler and easier than in the days of XP, when you had to load drivers for internet and etc. Vista and Win 7 do all that for you... unless you're on wireless, but that's easily fixed... insert your Bigpond disc, go to Administrative Tools>Computer Management> Device Manager>Other Devices (that's where it'll be)> 'device name' , ie Netgear>right click>Update Driver... Win 7 will install the drivers from your Bigpoond disc. Then it's a matter of going to the Network A Sharing Centre ot the icon in the system tray and clicking 'Connect to' the available network, entering your passkey and clicking OK... voila, you're connected to the net.
I'd do it for you if I could _ and you could watch for future reference - but really, there is no need as you are more than capable of doing it yourself... and Microsoft do provide printable installation instuctions so all you need to know is at your fingertips. So when you're ready... there's no excuse now not to.

Kitty! for years I've been saying that.. and the same for crocodiles.. well not that I don't have sympathy, of course I do.. BUT..There are signs everywhere saying quite clearly BEWARE OF CROCODILES/SHARKS etc.. and people ignore them, then when a person is attacked, they go out and slaughter dozens of that animal [shark OR croc].. why!?!?!?!??
is it meant to teach the shark a lesson? is he going to 'reform' and say 'Oh look, there's a human, we can't eat those'.. bullsh#t.. the ocean is THEIR home, and we are intruders, simple as that, so if you go into the ocean, you should sign some sort of waver, saying you're aware of the danger but you're too much of a moron to listen.![]()
I have too much respect for sharks to be ignorant and think they won't rip me to shreds if I take a dip in their territory, so I simply don't do any 'home invasions'
.. and what is with the term 'Man-eater'? Crikey, it's a shark, it eats meat, it's a carnivore
is it meant to differentiate between which is the 'other, other' white meant?![]()
I haven't seen any sharks leave the ocean lately to sun-bake outside MY house ![]()
Again, I DO feel terrible for anyone that has been hurt.. but to put it bluntly.. 'if you can't do the time.. don't do the crime'.
*LMAO@ Po![]()

We don't need to worry about crocs....they're only interested in American Tourists....[they like furren food].
Sharks aren't a problem, either....just stop pretending to be a seaweed....back in 'the day' you were either a seaweed or a petrol-head....since I can't swim I chose the latter.
It's the shark's environment...we're the invaders..... so much so that the Great White's protected, anyway. No shark should be shot for taking a human....though maybe if yer hoping for an open casket and you're missing some bits.....
Being a cyclist [go, Lance...] all I have to put up with is the odd feisty Brownie or two [missed being struck by one by about a foot or two a few years ago]... but we have an uneasy truce....they avoid me and I won't cry like a girl...![]()
Besides....why worry about sharks in Oz when we have the deadliest creature known to man [other than man] that's a jellyfish only about an inch or 2 across?
Just stay well inland....and be taken by an Inland Taipan....darn...deadliest snake....
Can't win.
Ah...."See Australia, and die"....![]()

Axtually, they prefer the aquatic mammals...seals, etc....more fat content.
People really ought to read the signs...billigans win the Darwin Award...the sooner the better. Time to cull the herd, imo.
A 'tale' if I've ever heard one.

An airplane seat cushion is only a saftey device until the sharks arrive.....then it's a bobber!![]()

Jafo, yeah the surfies we use to call 'Skegs' remember that?
and yes, AU has the deadliest land-snake in the word, the Taipan, of course it HAD to be in AU![]()
We need sharks, sharks are the vacuum cleaners of the ocean, this is a fact, if we had no sharks the ocean couldn't survive because it would be like a fish tank without a filter, sharks remove all the rotted fish etc, debris, and we need them
and it's a damn shame they get slaughtered for doing their job... they are attracted by splashing, and can sense it from a hell-of-a-long distance away, so basically, you folks that keep on swimming, we refer to as 'chum'.. you were warned ![]()

my day was horrendous, spent 6 hours in my car waiting for my fiance while he went to the dentist......i started to lose my mind and get super paranoid....(typical day for me lol) but i somehow survived, went to maccas and then came home.
i love nemo too, i also luv bruce, sooo funny. i love it when those balloons pop and you see the two pelicans and that bubble rises, and the other goes 'nice' like he farted, i always laugh my head off at that.
my other fave movie is lemeny snickets 'a series of unfortunate events' and in one part jim carrey says to the kids" i know...lets stop for a treat"
me and my fiance always use that line when we are in the supermarket, and have a good chuckle between each other about it...
i was doing a bee movie skin, but i lost momentum, my daughter came for holidays and the break from skinning did my head in, now i got no mojo left.......
