Stardock / Wincustomize subscriptions need to be combined. Separate annual complementary subscriptions are overwhelming and unnecessary.
This combined subscription needs to include all master skins released up until the end of the subscription including all prior.
Stardock needs to develop their software for the most up to date operating system, compatible with both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. The entire Object Desktop package should qualify, not just the core.
All software only compatible only with 32 bit operating systems and XP needs to be either upgraded or discarded entirely.
Cavemen (XP users) need to eventually upgrade their stone computers.
Both Stardock and WinCustomize struck out looking on Vista, at least swing the bat for Windows 7.

And while we're at it, let's cut support for people who...
* have monitors smaller than 30"
* have less than 16 gigs of RAM
* don't watch at least 8 hours of sport per day
* have a CPU smaller than 4.4 ghz
* don't speak pirate on 'International Speak Like a Pirate Day'
* havent got a cordless keyboard & mouse
* don't believe in UFO's
* drive on the right side of the road
* didn't vote for Barack Obama and have never seen a sky-blue pink elephant.
Oh, and anyone fitting into more than one of the above categories receives a life-long ban and need not apply.
What if you fit into all of them?

Generally development/support for an OS is discontinued as and when the OS usage drops to a significant [small] percentage.
It has happened already....Win95/98/2000 ....currently XP is in high-percentage use/popularity, and likewise 32bit vs 64.
If anything, Vista would be bypassed...to the point where if things worked OK in it AS WELL as Win 7 then well and good...but there's a fair chance that Vista will never reach market saturation currently seen by XP...and formerly by '98.
That's not going to be Stardock's fault.....instead think 'Microsoft'.

Ah, but age is not a prerequisite of genius... and LyLerk's visions for the future of computing are bordering on genius.
Unfortunately for LyLerk, however, those visions were seen long, long ago by folk at Microsoft, Apple and Linux, etc.
Heck, Frogboy and others have advocated going 64 bit only... and I see on the Windows Blog site that it's not happening with Windows 7, but it must inevitably happen as peoples needs and software requirements outgrow 32 bit.

You're telling me. I couldn't tell you how much I spend on Ortho products each summer. I've done everything but pour freakin kerosene on the damn things and....
