WC sub/Renewal? Sure i will ... answer the question ...

What is WC ? Some guy's (sorry fore womens ) are speaking about community and all what's may coming with.

WC IS NOT a Community and had never been. It's a place where Stardock makes it's pub (and an essential place to go through, when you're a little concerned by skinning ...).

Well, some members are feeling it's a community, but i guess they don't know what is exactly a community ( surely american's ones - for the 49 % of them  ).

The only goal of WC, is to go WITH Stardock, and to earn money. (it's not a criticism, it's a fact, with subcriptions crying, like there's now).

And though ? What's the deal for customer ? NOTHING apart to get a website unreacheable more than ever from time going on ...

And should we have to pay anymore for that ? guess what ...

And above all, i think that's Stardock (for the skinning part of it - but they have surely smelled it by polling up  other things like games   , and bringing us a big factory like Impulse that is not needed, not to say boring - ) should have to make a real BIG background lookover on itself ... Many of great skinners have gone out (or have been paid to get in  - sorry Renato - ). Many of pseudo skinners - like me - are disapointed by Stardock politics, and/or have nothing more to do do with skinning. Though one's more, why subscribing and give money in advance to a firm that one's may trust in ?

Stardock/Wincustomize ? i've been surely one of first user/subcriber but you just make me    from now.

An example ? A recent version of ThemeManager does not take care of people still using IP 3.20 / ID 1.3.0 ... Nothing is done to be able to modify an exiting theme ...

Another one ? ObjectDock is still in beta since october, 5th, 2007, (and has a bit of buggies)

Another one ? CursorFX Plus (or less) is not successfull, not able to correctly apply .CurXPTheme ... CursorFX Itself is not working correctly (unable to load correctly if you click twice on a theme, unable to classify alphabeticly the themes (perhaps a melting with .CurXPTheme files ? ) ...

... and so on ...

... Though get in and subscribe ... 

I beg to differ, it's not all about the money, at least I hope it's not, and it IS a Community.. look up the definition of the word.. the people make it a Community.. and we are the people.. aka 'The Community'

You have the right to differ. But perhaps you're a bit "young" on using Stardock/WC ... And perhaps i'm a bit too old ...

See, I'm basically here day in, day out, now I see folks drop by, who have never posted before, wanting help with one thing or another, you help them out, they end up coming back to say g'day and what-not, and before they know it, they're hooked and posting frequently.. they see how friendly the people are, are drawn to the place.. and eventually, maybe so inclined to subscribe.. that's good PR.. if you want to draw people in, have friendly people on hand, then you'll get your subs

No offense meant, neophil but then why are you still here? If you have issues with the software,that isn't WC's fault,and the forums here have always been a good place to get assistance,have they not?

Like most things in life,the more you put into something,the more you get out of it.

To visitors it may be WinCUSTOMIZE and all about the skins.They are the future members in most cases and good PR/free advertising.

To people who just like to complain, it's WHINECustomize.Valid complaint or not, they can have their say here.

For those of us who use and enjoy the site,have a little fun,welcome new members and try to be helpful to others it's WINCustomize.
