I was trying to install standalone.
I will give it a try with Impulse, you mentioned, Bichur. ![]()

last i read WB6.2 worked okay on xp64, 6.3 not so good - though others have posted they have had no issues = the dev mentioned getting Impulse to use some 6.2 files after it detects you have xp64
whether it works for you should be a separate issue from trouble installing..
how are you installing? via standalone, sdc, impulse, ?
Well I've had no luck so far with XP Pro x64 edition - thus I'm feeling as though it will be over looked and left behind.
Be nice if it worked - I have a nice new system and would like to use it.

There will be no more improvements for XP64. There aren't enough people using it to warrant and kind of R&D expenditure.
If you are going 64 bit, then Vista is your only option until W7 comes out.

Thanks Fuzzy kind of had it figured that way. The system I'm talking about is mainly a gaming rig no matter.
Thanks again for the reply

Bummer, that's really a drag. I'm in the mists of putting together a x64 system and now I see I may have to look at the ugly ms stuff.![]()

BushMan: Why not go with Vista 64 or Win 7 64 instead?

I'm not sure about Vista anything right now but Windows 7 may be something to look at (which I have started). Thanks.
