With a little smoke and mirrors, some bad lighting, a stunt double, and some of the stuff that this guy is on --->
to give to the audience...........I can appear to dance like that as well!!! ![]()

Ive always marvelled at Eleanor's dancing, I first saw her in 'born to dance' with jimmy stewart,... she just took my breath away, and her huge tap dance at the end was just stunning....... the greats where just that, the greats....i still love b&w movies the best....they basically are the bulk of my dvd collection.

I can do that, but I just keep moving to the left. Something about my feet I guess. Oh and I'm about 130 pounds heavier than Fred. Oh and I can't tap dance. Oh and I can't breathe. Oh shit.!

That's what would happen to me if I tried to get back into dancing.
Back in 1992 I was the United Kingdom Alliance Medalist of the Year (ballroom) but the years since have not been kind... ![]()

I have the same problem. My trousers have no ballroom.

I danced in front of 5000+ at Blackpool's Winter Gardens, three times:- 1992 UKA (winner - partner Gaynor 3rd in her competition), 1992 IDTA (finalist - partner Rachael DNQ) and 1993 IDTA (finalist - partner Rachael DNQ).
For the 1992 UKA I was already have problems with my feet, dancing with three injections in my left foot. A mixture of dancing in agony and a lack of a good partner meant a downhill slide and eventual retirement.
I miss it, sigh.
