Windowblinds doesn't cooperate with Firefox under Vista
menus are all screwy.
Tuesday, December 23, 2008 by jook11 | Discussion: WindowBlinds
Sorry if this has been answered. I tried searching firefox vista windowblinds and got a million results with this: "Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th. ... Vista screenshot > Download: @ alienware.com Price: Free! Wooohooo!"
Completely useles.
Anyway, I can't use windowblinds on either of my vista machines because Firefox's menus don't show right. That is, things that should appear form teh entire menubar "File, Edit, View, etc"
I either get a blank box that should be the menu stretching across the top of the screen (but it's blank) or a huge box covering the entire screen (Which is still blank)
I can't get a screenshot right now because I'm on my 64-bit machine and WB6 doesn't seem to want to apply any visual style except color variations on "classic" which it does no matter what theme I apply. Running "x64.exe" in the windowblinds install directory fixed this the first time it happened, but not now.
What's going on here?

Windowblinds 6 on both machines. One is a dual-boot 32-bit XP and Vista. Windoblinds works jsut fine under XP there. The other machine is a 64-bit Vista. Windowblinds freaks out on both versions of vista.

Updating to 6.3 took care of it on the 32-bit system. I haven't had a chance to get back to the 64-bit machine yet, but I have high hopes now.
Thanks for your help.

What version of WindowBlinds are you using? and is your 64 bit Vista or XP?
