Dock set to 'Autohide' sometimes doesn't 'Autohide'

Hello,
I have OD set to Autohide, but occasionally it doesn't go back to it's nest. If I give a icon a little wiggle (click/holding and pulling it out of place and dropping it back) then the dock hides again.
Any theories on this one?
