How did you pick your screen name

Sunday, December 7, 2008 by Brysgirl | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I was looking at some submissions for the GUI's when I thought to myself, "What made them think of that screen name?"From that thought and many like it, I decided to start this thread to enlighten others who might be asking themselves the same question.

So, if you could please share with the community how you chose your screen name, it would be greatly appreciated!

I'll start, My husband's name is Brian so, inevitably I am Brysgirl!(I'm sure the science behind that was mind-boggling)

My wife's name is Miriam; hence, I'm Mir's guy. But then, you should know that!

Missed the hidden meaning in that the first time thru.............

but Chrome can't seem to provide that function either

You could always take the plunge into Firefox3!

FireFox...I have it as my main browser...but that one doesn't copy and paste either...yes it is version 3...

They tell me the best bakery in Amsterdam is a Kwekkeboom Bakery.   It's a dream of mine to discover this for myself some day.

Like I haven't heard that one a million times growing up.  (Imagine, a chubby, somewhat clumsy girl growing up with that last name, and the cruelty of children being what it is....it's surprising I've never been institutionalized.)

When I was a little boy, my father gave me the nickname Bud. My screen name is based on that.

I'm just a big Disney freak. Was one as a kid and here I am 46 years later and still one. Don't know....maybe it's just the smile that I see appear on a child's face whenever they see Mickey Mouse. It kind of brings a lot of warmth to my heart, which we all need in these days and trying times, of course......then they see me and go running and screaming for their mothers!

My on name.

danilloOc = Danilo de Oliveira Castro

The extra "L" was cause I couldn't register the name in a e-mail provider

cause the name with a single "L" was already taken.
