windowblinds wont install with mycolors activated

got this error messege-

it said it cannot install WB with mycolors. i would like to try WB out though
i have found out mycolors is part of the alienguise skin -(alienware) iam using for my OS.. therefore, i have to decide wheather or not to remove this skin for WB..tough decision

by the way, in order for WB to be installed correctly mycolors and alienGUIse_vista software would have to be removed altogether right?

looking at the message you got, I'd have to say yes
I think since MyColors has limitations (only applies my colors) and the WB trial has limitations (can't use per pixel skins on downloaded skins, only on the one's provided) they get in conflict
When I had AlienGuise before, I already had ObjectDesktop so when I installed it I got a message asking if I wanted to use the AlienGuise theme manager or Stardock theme manager
Before it was called MyColors, AlienGuise used a licensed OEM version of the applicable apps needed (WB, Iconpackager,etc)

glad to see you're having fun with WB
before you buy, you might check out other trials such as DesktopX, Iconpackager, etc - then look at the ObjectDesktop prices compared to individual prices

there's an AlienWare skin in the WB gallery
why not uninstall AlienGuise and try out WB? you can always reinstall Alienguise later...
