Godspeed and Godbless Ash9111 and his family

To all of you who knew Ash, I'm sure you will always remember him as a kind and generous man, I only had the privilege of knowing him for a short while, and our main starting off topic was I was the only man he knew that had had more operations than him Ha Ha...what a way to start of a friendship, but our friendship grew from their, for me I always thought of him as the fighter, from been giving the news of 5 years to live, till when he died, he fought it every step of the way..for his family..and I suppose for himself...he fought it the only way he knew how, with a smile on his face and the will to help others.....I for one will miss the ol' bugger who has been taken in the prime of his life, so young....he leaves behind a beautiful wife and family, who I am sure are shrouded in sadness at this moment....maybe after walking these last coupla years in the rain, albeit with his head held high, he is finally in a dry spot, still with that smile upon his face, but with no pain to tinge it....I know the community is behind me when I send all of our prayers and wishes to his family, and hope with God's help that their sadness can be healed....Godbless and Godspeed from his other family

My family's thoughts and prayers are with them also. I didn't know him, but I know how devastating losing family members can be. May God be with you.

I personally find sadness but also an uplifting when i hear news like this... makes one appreciate what he has more, unfortunately at the expense of another.
Wiithout even knowing it, he has helped me to be better.

Thank you all once again, I'm sure Ash's family will be overjoyed, well I suppose I shouldn't use that word, but happy at the thought of all of you thinking of Ash at such a sad time, you will all definitely be in my heart and in my prayers, as I am sure Ash's family will feel the same.....John those were very moving words, thank you my friend, thank you all
